Get MembershipAjrakh print is a traditional block printing technique that originated in the Kutch region of Gujarat, India. It is a complex and time-consuming process that involves multiple stages of printing, dyeing, and washing to create intricate patterns and designs on fabric. The word “Ajrakh” is derived from the Arabic word “Azrak,” which means blue. This is because the traditional color used in Ajrakh prints is blue, along with red, black, and white. However, now Ajrakh prints are available in a wide range of colors. The fabric used for Ajrakh prints is usually cotton or silk. The process of creating an Ajrakh print starts with preparing the fabric by washing and bleaching it. Then, the fabric is printed on both sides using wooden blocks that have intricate designs carved on them. The blocks are dipped in natural dyes made from plants and minerals, and then carefully stamped onto the fabric to create a symmetrical pattern.
Kurta sets are the perfect go-to outfit for any festive or special occasion. Kurta sets usually consist of a kurta, a churidar, and a dupatta. They come in various colours, patterns, and styles, and can be tailored to suit your individual style. Kurta sets are an essential part of any festive wardrobe and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
